From the plaza to the Beer Garden, people packed into the Deer District at Fiserv Forum for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs. Families like Marco Segura’s decided to tailgate the watch party.
“We saw a couple people with their seats out too, so we decided why not bring our own and bring a little bit of food for us to eat while we are here?” said Segura, from Milwaukee.
The Seguras are not the only ones making this a family affair. Justin Reed brought his nearly 2-year-old daughter to the watch party.
“We want her to know basketball, so why not? It’s a good time. The Bucks are doing good. So let’s show her good basketball,” said Reed.
Veronica Pierce from Milwaukee also brought her four grandsons to the plaza.
“I wanted them to have the experience of being outdoors to watch the basketball game,” said Pierce.
But even if you came without a family, the Deer District has your back.
“The Bucks are family, we all family. Everybody in the Deer Distirct is family,” said Jeremy Watson, who was sitting in the middle of the Beer Garden.
So even as the Bucks started to lose their lead and the nerves started to show, the green and cream did what all family do - dig in and show some love.
“We all support the Bucks,” said Watson.
