Bucks' Sterling Brown, Kyle Korver to meet with Pope Francis to discuss social justice efforts, reports say

Five NBA players, including two from the Milwaukee Bucks, are traveling to the Vatican to discuss social justice issues, The Athletic reported Monday.

Sterling Brown and Kyle Korver, along with three other players from the San Antonio Spurs, Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies, were traveling to meet Pope Francis to discuss their efforts around social justice issues, Athletic reporter Shams Charania tweeted.

Brown and Korver, along with Marco Belinelli, Jonathan Isaac and Anthony Tolliver, will be at the meeting with the pope.

Charania reported that the Vatican reached out to the National Basketball Players Association to learn about the players' efforts.

The meeting is scheduled to take place Monday.
