Milwaukee Bucks fans were out watching the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers battle it out in Game 6 at The Mecca in Fiserv Forum’s Deer District Thursday night.
They were trying to get a look at the team that could take on the Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals. Fans were split on who they’d like to see the Bucks play.
At Milwaukee’s Sherman Phoenix, Bucks fever is spreading. Noel Alvarado at None Above has been busy making Bucks-themed shoes.
“[It] definitely has brought a ton of new clients," said Alvarado. "A lot of people want to represent Milwaukee and the Bucks.”
Alvarado even artfully painted Bucks green on a pair of Nike’s for Buck Sidney Moncrief.
“Yeah that’s been amazing you could say,” said Alvarado.
Shindig Coffee is offering a buy one get one free deal on their 'Real Bucks' drink, a mixture of kale, lemon, and apple.
"I think there is an excitement and it’s building," said the shop's manager. "It’s continuing to build. Everyone is excited about where we are going.”
The Bucks will take on the winner of the Toronto/Philadelphia series next week starting in Milwaukee.
