MILWAUKEE -- The new Bucks arena is coming together piece by piece. The latest addition to the stadium is a 33-foot wide monument that spells out 'BUCKS' in 12-foot tall block letters.
The monument was placed on the southeast corner of the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center on Thursday.
The letters are designed to be a meeting place for fans with benches and different colored illuminating lights.
Selbert Perkins Design of Chicago designed the monument in coordination with Populous, the arena's architect. Jones Sign Company was the fabricator and installer.
In addition to the stadium's existing signs, two more Bucks Pro Shop signs will be installed by the end of the week.
