MILWAUKEE -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady loves watching the Red Sox, but they aren't the only team he's pulling for this October.
According to New England Sports Network, Brady is good friends with Mark Attanasio, the Brewers owner, and he's cheering for the Brewers this October.
Although some Red Sox fans may have an issue with their future Hall of Fame QB rooting for another team, the two teams wouldn't face off until the World Series anyway.
“Boston is such a sports town and they love the Red Sox, I certainly love watching them. You know, the Milwaukee Brewers and our buddy, (Brewers owner Mark Attanasio), they’ve played great and they won today. That was a huge win for them today. Those are the two I'm pulling for, Brady said."
The NLDS between the Brewers and Rockies will begin Thursday afternoon at Miller Park, and the ALDS between the Red Sox and Yankees/Athletics will be Friday. The Yankees and Athletics play tonight in the AL Wildcard game. The winner will travel to Boston to play the Sox.
