It's Opening Day at Miller Park and as fans arrive ahead of a 1:10 p.m. first pitch against the Rockies, they'll notice 11 new concession stands.
The Milwaukee Brewers are debuting $20 million dollars in renovations at Miller Park for the start of the new season.
Roughly $20-million in concession upgrades was made during the offseason.
"Maybe 30, 40 or 50 years ago, it was ok to serve a boiled hotdog, but not anymore," said Ken Gaber, General Manager of Delaware North Milwaukee Sportservice, which runs the concession stands at Miller Park.
"Now, everything is elevated to the top degree," he added.
Gaber said roughly 50 people oversee the staff, cooks, and even volunteer workers that operate the concession stands at Miller Park on game days.
The crews work on food preparation and setup.
"We had people here starting at 3 a.m. today, just trying to get the concession stands up and running and just moving product around," he said.
