The Milwaukee Brewers' right field is switching back to his old position in order to make room for someone whom the franchise hopes is a future star.
The Journal Sentinel's Tom Haudricourt reports that the team is moving Ryan Braun to left field. Youngster Domingo Santana, whom is said to have a much stronger arm, is moving to right field.
"With the players we have on our roster this year, it's an advantageous decision for both Ryan and the other players involved, specifically Domingo in right field," said Counsell to Haudricourt.
"I think you put the players where you think they fit best. I think both of them factor in to making the decision."
Braun has five years of Brewers experience at left field. He moved to right field in 2014. An opening came in left with the recent trade of Khris Davis.
