A report says the Milwaukee Brewers' star outfielder and catcher are not being shopped around by their team for a trade.
Journal Sentinel beat writer Tom Haudricourt reports that Brewers owner Mark Attanasio has called potential reports on trades involving Ryan Braun and Jonathan Lucroy "much ado about nothing."
He also says, according to Haudricourt, the team is not actively attempting to trade them.

Brewers GM David Stearns told 620 WTMJ's Greg Matzek on Wednesday that any potential trade for Lucroy or Braun is "a balancing act. It's largely dependent on the return, just like with any trade. You only make the transaction if the return justifies the cost you're giving up. Those two guys and a number of other players on our roster, because of how they have performed...certainly generate interest and phone calls."
