Milwaukee Brewers reenact their favorite scene from "The Sandlot" to celebrate 25th anniversary

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers are paying tribute to one of the most famous baseball movies of all time. 

On Sunday, the team posted a new video on social media -- recreating a famous scene from the baseball classic “The Sandlot.”

In the two and a half minute video, each member of the Brewers played a character from the movie.

The “line-up” included: 

  • Christian Yelich as Benny
  • Brett Phillips as Smalls
  • Stephen Vogt as Ham
  • Eric Sogard as Squints 
  • Hernan Perez as Yeah-Yeah
  • Jeremy Jeffress as Kenny
  • Josh Hader as Bertram
  • Chase Anderson and Jett Bany as brothers Tommy and Timmy Timmons
  • Hank the dog as "The Beast"

The Brewer’s reproduction is in honor of the Sandlot’s 25th anniversary of the classic movie’s release. According to MLB.com, the team decided to reenact their favorite scene.
