MILWAUKEE -- While most were asleep after celebrating the Brewers first N.L. Central title in seven years, the team store kept its doors open for fans to get their playoff gear.
"It's super exciting," Jill Aronoff, Vice President of Retail said. "People love the Brewers, they love being here, they love Milwaukee. It's a win."
Just before 5:00 a.m. the last championship sweatshirt was sold. But fans kept coming in to get whatever they could to remember 2018 was the season their Brewers won the National League Central Division.
"It's awesome," Bill Ryerson of Waukesha said. "It's a memory she wouldn't forget. We came down here and got the shirt and they won the division again."
Ryerson brought his young daughter Lily. He says he was only four years old in 1982 when the Brewers went to the World Series. He doesn't have any memories of it and wants to make sure his daughter remembers this.
"It's really exciting and all the teachers were going crazy," Lily said. "Go Brewers!"
Fans young and old are experiencing the day together. Though, the older fans know they can't take days like this for granted.
"You never know when the next time is going to come up so you got to come now," Shawn Clark said.
"My heart is still pumping from yesterday," Jill Zentowski said. "It was unbelievable. I cheered them on as much as I could."
Zentowski remembers going to games with her family when she was young. She says her dad even helped build County Stadium. So the Brewers mean more to her than just baseball.
"I never took my Brewer flag down in front of my house," Zentowski said. "Packers have to wait because the Brewers are going all the way to the World Series I think."
The Brewers Team Store will have extended hours from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. this week. They expect to restock their supply of NL Central Championship gear each day.
