MILWAUKEE -- When the Milwaukee Brewers celebrated their fifth postseason berth in franchise history, they drank the champagne, and Milwaukee's own champagne of bottled lite beers, delivered "by the enemy."
It was not only ironic, but perhaps symbolic that the Brewers' playoff-clinching 2-1 win happened in the lair of their co-archrival St. Louis Cardinals.
It was even more profound - or at least funny - that in a stadium named after the ultimate enemy beer product of Miller, Busch Stadium, the Brewers celebrated with lots of Miller Lite...delivered in a Budweiser container.
Andrew Wagner of the Wisconsin State Journal, Forbes and other outlets noted the delivery of alcohol to the Brewers' locker room before the final pitch of the Brewers' win.

The Brewers put team flags over those containers in the locker room and had posted Miller Lite signs all around the area that protected their lockers as the sudsy party commenced.
Where did they grab their Miller Lite from? Yep, those Budweiser containers.
