As if you needed another reason to root for the Brewers this postseason.
Ahead of the Brewers-Rockies NLDS series, Miller Brewing Company and Coors Brewing Company have both agreed to provide free beer to the winning city.
According to a news release, the losing city’s brewery will pick up the tab on Friday, Oct. 12 at participating bars across the winning city.
There will be a one beer limit, and of course, you must be at least 21-years-old to redeem your free beer.
“While Miller Brewing and Coors Brewing work together to provide the most refreshing beer to fans everywhere, there’s nothing wrong with a little friendly rivalry – especially when the fans are the true winners,” the two breweries said in a joint news release.
The Brewers take on the Rockies in the NLDS starting Thursday. First pitch is at 4:07 p.m.
