Family-friendly changes made at Miller Park

Posted

Ahead of Brewers Opening Day, Miller Park has made some family-friendly changes.

The Milwaukee Brewers have teamed up with Aurora Health Care to renovate the terrace level Kids Zone area as well as a section in the First Aid Station. Both sections are ready for Opening Day.

Aurora Health Care's Senior Director of Branding, Shannon Pogodzinski, says updating the kids' area is an important enhancement for the entire family's gaming experience.

"We recognize the importance of having safe and healthy, and friendly spaces for our children," said Pogodzinski.

The miniature playground's soft floors, low and sturdy Brewer themed obstacles should help burn off some toddler energy.

In the stadium level's First Aid Room is where mothers can find a new nursing suite. Inside moms have a television, magazines, changing table, diaper pail, and several comfortable chairs waiting.

"Moms have the opportunity to kind of sneak away from the game, nurse their babies, they can do it in private, and then get back to the game," said Pogodzinski.

The room is open to all mothers during both game day and non-game day events.
