In a bizarre turn of events, Brewers manager Craig Counsell pulled starter Wade Miley after he walked Cody Bellinger.
It's strange not only because of how quickly he made the change, but because the Brewers used 7 pitchers in Tuesday’s game, that went into extra innings.
Counsell brought in Brandon Woodruff to pitch in Miley's absence.
Needless to say, it had our sports reporters at TODAY'S TMJ4 stunned.
Excuse me for my language but what the hell is going on?

Miley gives up a lead walk and here comes Woodruff. A legitimate wow. 😳 #Brewers

I get if pulling Miley was some jedi mind trick from Counsell. But I'm pretty sure Woodruff putting Turner on the next at bat wasn't. #DodgersvsBrewers #NLCS

According to MLB reporter Ken Rosenthal, it was all planned.
Removing Miley was Brewers’ plan. He will start Game 6.
