Craig Counsell has turned the Brewers into a potential World Series contender in his four years as manager. And on the brink of Game 1 of the NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers, a video from 2016 resurfaced of Counsell and it is giving Brewers fans all the feels.
In the video titled 'Born a Brewer,' Counsell narrates about all the great memories fans, and himself, have had throughout the Brewers tenure in Milwaukee.
Counsell makes references to Bob Uecker, winning the 1982 pennant and making the NLCS in 2008 and 2011.
Counsell does have quite the relationship with the Brewers as well. Before he was named manager, he grew up in Whitefish Bay and played for the team in 2004 and from 2007-2011.
Why this video is becoming popular now is a mystery, but it's safe to say it will give Brewers fans more reason to cheer Friday night at Miller Park.
