First doughnuts. Now, it's sweet dessert and game tickets. When will the freebies ever end for Brewers fans who vote for Jesús Aguilar?
Technically, they won't end until tomorrow morning, when the Brewers have their final promotional opportunity for fans to cast their vote for Aguilar in the National League "Final Five" voting for the MLB All-Star game.
The Brewers are inviting fans to come to Miller Park's Hot Corner between 7 and 9 a.m. Each fan will receive free ice cream and two tickets to the game (which Aguilar is paying for, the Brewers say), on July 24 vs. the Washington Nationals.
The team will also give away free t-shirts, bobbleheads and other items.
Aguilar leads the NL voting as of noon Tuesday, but voting ends on Wednesday at 3 p.m. CT.
The Brewers used doughnuts to entice votes for Aguilar on Tuesday (not illegal under MLB rules, like it is for actual government elections). They even had a priest and a rabbi vouch to vote for Aguilar.
