Brewers fans confident heading into Game 2 of the NLDS

Brewer fans didn’t let overcast skies put a damper on their tailgate. Cars started lining up outside Miller Park well before parking lots opened at noon. Fans are feeling confident.

“We’re going to go all the way,” said Mary Jo Brown, Brewers fan.

“They’re playing well, they’re a team, they’re like a family, they’re great,” said John Jorgensen, Brewers fan.

Tailgaters huddled under tents as light rain moved through. A group of childhood friends met up to take in the game.

“Just bunch of buddies who love the Brewers and we all want to get together and cheer them on in the playoffs and have a good time,” said Brooks Kittoe.

Christopher Koelker drove through the night from South Dakota to join his friends.

“I left at 1:00 in the morning to get to Potosi so it took six hours to get there. My sister had a bed ready for me to sleep, but my brother-in-law he was ready to party so I didn’t go to sleep,” said Christopher Koelker.

These fans hope the party is just getting started.

“October baseball is a great thing,” said Kittoe.
