Alternate routes into Miller Park for Opening Day

MILWAUKEE - Whether it's your first time going to Miller Park or you're a seasoned veteran, everyone looks for ways to beat the traffic into the ball park.

Most of the time people hop on the highway and head to the game. But if you know the back ways, you may be able to avoid some of that congestion.

If you're coming from the northeast, take State Street into the Miller Valley. Turn on 41st Street and travel around the corner to the stop sign. Take a right on Bluemound Road, then a left on 44th Street, and that will take you past the Spahn lot and over to the Miller parking lot and the Yount and Uecker lots.

If you're coming from the east, by Potawatomi Casino, take Canal Street through the Menomonee River Valley. You'll come in the back way of the Uecker and Yount lots.
Don't want to drive? You can take a shuttle from one of the area bars and restaurants like the ones on Bluemound Road.

The bus is also a convenient way to get to the game. The MCTS offers the Brewers Line. The route makes lots of stops off Water Street, Cathedral Square, and along Wisconsin Avenue.

If Uber or Lyft are your thing the ride share lot is just across the bridge from the Ball Park. Order a ride and your driver will let you know when they arrive and which stop they're at.

If none of these sound good to you, you can ride a bicycle. There's a bike share option right next to the ride share lot.
