Protect Our Landscapes from Aquatic Invasive Plants

Melinda Myers on How You Can Help!

We live in one of the most lake rich areas of the world and have 20% of the world’s accessible freshwater available to us in the Great Lakes. These water resources drive our economy, our recreation, and our way of life. Invasive plant species are threatening our waterways. When we introduce non-native species into an area, it can take over and crowd out critical native species and disrupt the balance, food systems and health of the eco-system. So how can we help protect these vital resources? "The Plant Doctor" Melinda Myers and Chris Acy from the Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance join us with more information.
