One of Milwaukee's most selfless military Veterans is Vietnam medic, Jeff "Doc" Dentice. For the last 31 years, Doc has given back to the community of Veterans, working tirelessly to support and help Milwaukee Veterans and their families of every background. He has put his heart and soul into supporting the community which has included gathering clothing donations for the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Stand Down, in addition to hosting his huge annual event, "Christmas with the Vets" Show at the Zablocki VA hospital in Milwaukee.
Throughout the years, Doc has put in countless hours of volunteer work with the help of a 4x4 pickup truck he uses for supplies and donations, taking care of Vets while running fundraisers and events. Sadly, his previous truck was falling apart and continued to decline so rapidly that it was impairing those important community efforts.
The community has stepped up to get Doc a new truck to continue his mission of supporting American Veterans. Find out more about what Doc and fellow Vet, George Koerner, do for Veterans and how Nathaniel Lynn from Al Hurvis Adamm Education Foundation got involved to present Doc with the keys to a brand-new truck to support the Vets.
