As a four-time Olympic Medalist, USA Swimming Foundation Ambassador and the second African-American swimmer in history to win Olympic gold, Cullen Jones has the power to impact the sport of swimming more than any other athlete in the United States. This two-time Olympic Gold Medalist (2008 Beijing and 2012 London) is a tireless ambassador for diversity and an advocate for water safety. He is in our area for a special event promoting water safety, and he joins us to discuss his mission and an incredible new aquatic center in Racine!
Cullen will be speaking at the SC Johnson Rondelle Theater in Racine tonight, May 29 from 6:30pm to 8pm. And tomorrow, May 30 he will be at the Grand Opening Ceremony for the SC Johnson Community Aquatic Center at 11am. The Aquatic Center will be open to the public on June 2.
