All Racine Unified School students will receive a Chromebook in preparation for virtual learning, the school district said.
The district announced it was going 100 percent remote learning for the start of the 2020-2021 school year on July 24.
Remote learning will go through the first quarter, which ends on Nov. 6.
Technology and materials pick up for RUSD 4K through 12th grade will take place on Aug. 18, 19 and 20.
The Chromebooks will not be available to students until mid-September, the district said. In the meantime, 4K-2 teachers will record themselves teaching lessons from packets that will be given to parents.
