MILWAUKEE — It's hard to imagine a world without tacos, but for Taco Stop MKE owner AJ Agiss, COVID-19 came close to doing just that.
"It got to a point where it was a little scary, to be honest. If you would have asked me back in March if Taco Shop was going to survive I probably would have told you it wasn't," says AJ.
That was before AJ realized how much the Elm Grove community loved Taco Stop.
"We weren't expecting that kind of unity and that amount of help from our customers. Thankfully they rallied around us and they got us out of the hole," says AJ.
Open to the public, AJ's Goal is to thank loyal and new customers by making sure they feel safe dining in at his location.
"I feel like in these times you have to offer people the sense that you are being responsible and you also care about their well-being as much as you care about what they're eating," says AJ.
