Patio seating allows for more customers

MILWAUKEE — The last time we visited Sala in April, they - like so many restaurants - were struggling to get through a pandemic. They estimate they've lost 50 to 60 percent of their business. They're hoping that is behind them.

"We are slowly getting busier each day," says owner Terea Balistreri-Warsh. "It's been a little bit more than the day before, so people are getting comfortable with the idea of coming out and eating at the restaurant."

Featuring modern Sicilian dining, the restaurant has added a beautiful street patio to space out their customers.

"This will double us," estimates Balistreri-Warsh. "At least 75 percent more I think because we can't seat as many people inside so having extra space and having extra tables allows us to serve more people throughout the day."
