WAUKESHA — If you're not familiar with Pat's Rib Place in Waukesha you might want to try them out. They've been serving up their southern-style cooking for 10 years.

"The idea came from my mom who passed away in 2011," says Alisha Hayes, who owns the restaurant with her husband, Tydus. "She was a southern belle. She just made some fantastic food and we just thought it would be nice to bring a little bit of 'southern' to Waukesha."
These ribs are what they're known for, and Tydus makes his own sauce.
"I have four sauces - all homemade," he says. "I definitely wanted to do something different so we came up with the recipes shortly before the restaurant opened."
