MILWAUKEE — Park Place Cafe was once a thriving, busy breakfast and brunch restaurant on Good Hope and 107th Street. Now they're just doing curbside because of the pandemic.

"It's been very hard," says owner Bekimi Kadriu. "We are struggling. As we say, we're in 'survival mode.'"
Bekim has been serving up his popular food for just under a year now, and he's trying to stay positive.
"To be honest, what keeps us alive is the hope that we will be open that's all," he says. "We are ready to sacrifice a little bit, but as long as they allow us to open at the end of the month hopefully, we'll be okay. We'll pretend like this never happened and will start over again. That's my idea, keep positive, be nice to the customers because we are here for the customers."
