WAUWATOSA — If you're looking for homestyle Italian food, Maggiano's, next to Mayfair Mall, has what you need. Managing partner Jeff Gerber estimates the restaurant lost 65 percent of their business because of the coronavirus pandemic.
"I've never seen anything like this," he says. "It's kind of one of those things where you react really quickly to figure out how to take care of guests, while keeping your team safe, and keeping guests safe. We switched to curbside - we had never done anything like that before. It's pretty much touchless if the guests want it that way."

Jeff also details why their food is so good.
"We have culinary-trained chefs," he explains. "We make everything from scratch each day. Lasagna, baked ziti, chopped salad, Maggiano salad. We're selling a lot of chicken piccata because the weather is warming up."
