MILWAUKEE — Momo Mee is a restaurant specializing in Pan-Asian cuisine. Located at First and Greenfield, it's known for its Japanese, Chinese and Korean food.
Owner and Executive Chef Tony Ho opened the restaurant in December 2018.
"I was born and raised in Hong Kong," says chef Tony. "Later I immigrated to the U.S. and then I started my career."

This is his second restaurant. He opened his first 15 years ago in Wichita, Kansas. He says business is down about 50% compared to this time last year, but thanks his customers for sticking by him.
"Our customers are very loyal," says chef Tony. "They really support us. I can't ask for any more than that."
He says after the state shut down in March, he worried about the future and how his employees would recover.
"You just keep going. You hang in there. Hopefully six months or a year from now everything is over."
Now with his dining room and patio open, he's ready to move forward. Keeping customer safety top of mind.
"Before they come in I make it's nice and clean," says chef Tony. "We have social distancing. The server, host, and the cooks all wear masks. We want to make sure it's safe for the customers. It's very important."
If you stop at Momo Mee, there's one thing you can't leave without trying, the dumplings.
"Almost every table orders that," says chef Tony. "People travel from far away to Milwaukee to have these."
Momo Mee is open Monday - Saturday from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon - 8 p.m.
You can call ahead to make a dine-in reservation or order for takeout.
