MILWAUKEE — Fein Brothers on Martin Luther King Drive is a restaurant, supplies, and equipment business that has been servicing the community since 1929. When the restaurants had to close because of the pandemic, owner Todd Minkin was there.

"A lot of customers who really didn't know how they were going to handle carry-out; we helped them out a great deal," Minkin explains.
Several establishments needed equipment to keep food hot.
"We loaned out a bunch of equipment that could be used to keep hot food hot. When it came out of the kitchen, it could be held hot waiting for the customer to pick it up," Minkin said.
He tries to meet the demand to keep restaurants and other places sanitized and safe while prices for his supplies have spiked.
"We started purchasing gloves in a large amount in March and I'm making a purchase now," he says. "And I'm finding that our price on gloves has escalated 250 percent from what I paid in March to today."
