In Grafton, Flipside Cafe and Grill has been serving customers for over a decade.
"Our community is fantastic. I mean we do have regulars that are in here and they count on us to be open," says Julie Kranich, owner of Flipside. "I grew up doing this. My dad and I spent every day up here up until COVID happened. Now he's not here and I had to learn how to take over."
Running Flipside while her father stays safe at home, Julie promises they are cooking something you'll love.
"The squeaky cheese skillet, you can't go wrong. We have giant salads; everyone comes in for the Friday Fish Fry," says Julie.
With a menu served all day long, and not one plate breaking the bank, Flipside has been able to weather this pandemic.
"We aren't back at 100 percent but we are doing enough that we can keep our employees taken care of and that's what matters," says Julie.
Always looking for the up-ide, Julie and the staff at Flipside are ready to serve you an afternoon pancake or a morning steak.
"We love to be here. It's not a job when you're at Flipside. It is just a happy, fun place and the customers make it even better. They come in and are excited to be here. Even with all this, it's nice to have some normal feeling to life," says Julie.
