OAK CREEK — If you like Cuban food, Cubanitas is where you want to be. They say they're the first Cuban restaurant to open up in the state of Wisconsin back in 2003, but the pandemic really rocked their world. They cater to most of the Major League Baseball teams when they come to town.

"The pandemic and the closures started here in Milwaukee literally 48 hours before the Brewers were calling to book parties," laments co-owner Marta Bianchini. "The Cardinals were booking all of their events with us and we had a bunch of inquiries from the other teams."

Marta owns Cubanitas in Oak Creek, Milwaukee and soon in Brookfield with her husband, Marc. They take great pride in keeping their customers safe moving forward.

"Safety first not only for our customers but for our staff," she says. "So we upgraded POS systems where its touchless payment, pick up, and ordering."
