"You know it started slow, but after a couple of years it started building up and here we are," said Wigley.
Even with a strong following, she still wondered what things would be like once COVID-19 forced the weekend business to carryout only.
"It's still pretty good. We are down 25%, but it's been good and I'm frankly surprised," she said. "In this time with everything that's going on, but I appreciate it and I think God for it."
As long as patrons continue to place an order, Wigley will do whatever it takes to feed her community.
"I appreciate my customers so much I do. I appreciate them for trusting me enough, and I would definitely go that extra mile to stay in compliance and stay safe," she said.
With a heart of gold, it's no wonder that Wigley's recipes are those of the soul food variety.
"As long as you're doing the right thing, the best you can to do the right thing, they'll keep coming."
