MILWAUKEE — Santino's Little Italy is a cozy restaurant on the corner of Hilbert and Stewart in Bay View. Like all restaurants, the pandemic posed a serious challenge to this Italian favorite.

"Before everything was shut down officially, we were circling the wagons," says co-owner Greg Huber. "We knew the only option for us was curbside. We wanted to do it right," he said.

The customer support that they've received was been amazing, according to co-owner Santo Galati.

"I'll tell you something, it was moving," he says. "I got emotional behind this mask a few times, on how our customers stepped up to the plate. We had customers drive from Waukesha, Racine and we had some people come from Kenosha supporting us."
