WAUWATOSA — North Avenue Grill in Wauwatosa is enjoying the change to serve its customers inside and on their patio during this nice stretch of summer weather.
"Opening up for dine-in was very slow at first," says owner Mike Topolovich. "Carryout still rules our business, but we're only running at maybe 30 percent of our capacity."

Mike has owned this successful restaurant for seven years.
"I was surfing Craig's List and there was a Wauwatosa restaurant for sale," he recalls. "I told my dad about and two months later we opened the doors and it was only this side of the restaurant, six booths, two tables, thirty-five seats and we did that for about four years and we were packed."
Customer support has been tremendous during this pandemic because the food is on point.
"The Horsey Burger that's been a go-to burger from almost day one," Topolovich says. "Breakfast-wise, we have a chorizo avocado skillet where you've got black beans, peppers, onions, chorizo, avocado, pepper jack cheese all scrambled up over our hand-cut American fries."
