MILWAUKEE — We're Open making a special stop McBob's Pub & Grill on North Avenue. They've been in business for 34 years and they want to open back up for inside service.
"It's been a frustration for us simply for us because a good portion of our business has been lost a lot of revenue stream has been lost," owner Steve Schmich said. "We have a very good base of customers, our to-go customers. The community has supported us one hundred percent. They come, they order a large amount of food, so it's just been great with the community.

Schmich said it's tough to watch other restaurants in the surrounding areas open up while he remains restricted.
"We feel like there is not a platform," he said. "We continually call city officials and we get very little response if any. Our aldermen are not responsive, and it's very difficult to make them understand what we are going through as business owners. Most of our businesses can't sustain three or four months without opening. It's just not feasible."
