DELAFIELD — The Lumber Inn breakfast family restaurant in Delafield has been in the Perez family for the past 18 years.

"It was just this little area before we added any of the expansions," says owner Raul Perez. "So this was the office for the lumber yard, I want to say it was 1983 that it finally became a restaurant for the first time. In 2002 we actually bought it from the previous owners and now it's been our Lumber Inn."
They have a big advantage during the pandemic because they have three separate rooms that can allow for social distancing.
"Customers are happy to finally be back," Raul says. "Early today we had some customers who said they wanted to be away from people, so luckily we have the back room and we're able to spread them out a little bit. They feel comfortable."
