For Vita Fugarino, opening Cuppa Tosa was a family affair.
"We have been talking about opening this coffee shop, my family and I, for almost two years," says Vita, owner of the new Wauwatosa coffee shop.
The location on the corner of Bluemound and Mayfair, perfect for many reasons, not even a pandemic would stop this family's mission.
"My family used to have Giuseppi's Italian Restaurant on this corner from 1975 until 2001. So to come back and open up a coffee shop where my mom and dad had their restaurant is really a dream come true," says Vita.
With homemade gifts, treats, and of course cannoli, Cuppa Tosa aims to be more than a coffee shop.

"It's comfortable, it's like being at home. That's how I want customers to feel like they are walking into my home. So, we are going to treat them just as if they were a member of our own family," says Vita.
If you are just looking for a cup of joe, you won't find one more made to your liking than at Cuppa Tosa.
"I hired some fantastic baristas. They're just so smart and intuitive and they have fantastic taste buds and love to experiment," says Vita.
Opening in September, Vita says you can find the latest information and daily deals on their Facebook page. Plus, a huge shout out to the community that has already shown her family and business so much love.
"The neighborhood is fantastic and they are so super supportive, everyone who lives around here. They are happy to see someone open the shop here and open a coffee shop. It's been fantastic actually," says Vita.
