MILWAUKEE — You may want to give the "chef" in the house a break, and give a local business a carryout call.
A cafe downtown is changing up its business this #TakeOutTuesday.
Sam Bolton's City.Net Jazz Cafe has been in business for 16 years. He says what's happening to his family-run business on Wisconsin Avenue is worse than the recession, "We can weather through another 3-4 weeks if we get enough pickup and help from the government with our payroll we should be okay. With revenue down by two-thirds, his daughter Shani has come up with carryout specials every day to attract business.

"Taco day, three tacos for $6, loaded nachos, and the special is the fiesta fries, meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, peppers!"
Though slower, his die-hard customers are still coming in, raving to us after their pickups. Tarri says, "Coffee is delicious. Forget Starbucks! I love these guys. I want them to stay in business."
Belton says that is what needs to happen to ensure your favorite spot will be there when this is over.
