Here's owner Adam Pawlak on why they stayed close so long, "For us, we were more so looking for a little bit more guidance from the health department, a little more guidance from the city so there are consistent rules in operating procedures all across the city. We didn't want to open up and do something wrong, or open up, and not be safe enough for customers to come in and be safe so that we didn't have to close down again."
They're known as a fast and causal pasta bar-restaurant that doesn't cut any corners.
"I would say that Egg and Flour is special in that we make all of the pasta from scratch hand-made. We make everything from scratch, the sauces the garnishes, all the salad dressings, we even make are old bread crumbs," Pawlak said.
