MILWAUKEE -- Children get the chance to get up close with reptiles and learn about nature Sunday, June 12 at the Wehr Nature Center from 1 to 4 p.m.
The event is also meant to get children to learn more about nature in Wisconsin, and be responsible pet owners.
Howard Aprill, Park Naturalist with Wehr Nature Center, introduced us to "Boxie" the 40+ year old endangered Ornate Box Turtle, and ambassador for the center.
