Argument leads to gunfire at West Bend Taco Bell drive-thru

WEST BEND -- Two men were arrested after a fight in a West Bend Taco Bell drive-thru leads to gunfire. 

West Bend Police were called to the Taco Bell on Main Street just after 2 a.m. Saturday after a citizen reported a fight. 

When police arrived at the scene, a witness told them there was an argument between two cars in the drive-thru.

During the argument, a 38-year-old man pulled out a handgun from one of the cars, made threats and fired one shot.

No one was struck by the bullet or injured.

Police arrested the 38-year-old man who now faces charges for:

  • 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety
  • Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon
  • Operating Auto while Intoxicated

Police also arrested a 27-year-old man, who also faces charges for Disorderly Conduct.

The 27-year-old was the legal owner of the gun -- and it was recovered by police.
