Eau Claire police saved a man's life after he allegedly overdosed on heroin while he was behind the wheel.
In a video posted to Facebook, ECPD officers are seen breaking into a vehicle that was halted on a curb. The driver was unresponsive behind the wheel with the keys still in the ignition.
Officers administered the needed help to the man to save his life. The man, 37-year-old Jason Harding was arrested shortly after for his third OWI.
ECPD says that while they beleive that those with addictions should receive the care they need, they also want to make sure the roads are safe.
