It's not every day you go to work and save a life. Three electricians from Roman Electric were honored Wednesday night for their heroic actions on March 12.
Chris Rassette, Jack Schoeppe, and Brian Pape were working near 70th and Dickerson when they saw smoke coming from a nearby home.
"A gentleman handed a baby out the window smoke was pouring out," said electrician Chris Rassette, "so we helped him get there the baby out, it was just a crazy time."
They pulled three adults and an infant from the burning building.
"You guys are superheroes. What you did that day was absolutely fantastic," said Deputy Fire Chief Aaron Lipski.
The hero electricians were given challenge coins from their union, and a proclamation from the city.
