The Packers making a couple of moves Monday placing wide receiver Jake Kumerow on injured reserve and signing linebacker Korey Toomer. Kumerow, who played college at UW-Whitewater, injured his shoulder in the August 16th preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He will be eligible to return Week 8 against New England.
Korey Toomer was recently cut by the 49ers after signing a one-year deal. Green Bay will be Toomer's 7th team in 6 years. He was drafted by Seattle in 2012 and spent the last two years with the Los Angeles Chargers recording 130 tackles and starting 16 games.
