U.S. Postal Service kicks off summer with scratch-and-sniff stamps
Posted

It smells like summer! The U.S. Postal Service is introducing its first scratch-and-sniff stamps.

The Frozen Treats Forever stamps are an ode to summer with images of colorful popsicles and sweet scents to follow.

The debut is June 20 in Austin, Texas, but the stamps will be available for pre-order soon after.

Art Director Antonio Alcalá and Leslie Badani of Alexandria, Va. designed the new stamps.

Frozen Treats stamps will be as First-Class Mail Forever stamps, so they will always be equal in value to the current First-Class Mail one-ounce price.

USPS encourages the public to submit stamp suggestions as well. Visit their website for more information.
