Steph Curry responds to 9-year-old girl who asked why his shoes weren't available for girls

SAN FRANCISCO -- Earlier this week, 9-year-old Riley Morrison sent a letter to NBA superstar Stephen Curry about his current basketball shoe line, asking for Curry to make his shoes in girl sizes too.

In the letter, Morrison says that she is a big fan of Curry and that she is getting ready for a new basketball season. When she and her father went to the store to buy the new Curry 5's, she was disappointed to only see them in boy's sizes.

A couple days later, Curry wrote back to Morrison and said that he had been spending those days talking to Under Armour about changing this issue.

On Under Armour's website, the change has been made.

He didn't stop there.

The five-time NBA All-Star also sent a pair to the 9-year-old and told her that she would "be one of the first kids to get the Curry 6."

This is nothing new for the best shooter of all-time. Curry, a father of two daughters, has been a huge advocate for women's athletics.

His Golden State Warriors will face-off against the Milwaukee Bucks next Friday, December 7 at Fiserv Forum.
