The Halloween & Costume Association started a petition to move the date of Halloween from a weekday. They're calling it the 'Saturday Halloween Movement.'

The goal is to change the date of Halloween permanently to the last Saturday of October.

So far there are over 12,500 signatures of the 15,000 end goal.

The main concern of weekday Halloween is safety. According to the site, there are 3,800 Halloween-related injuries every year.

But the other concern is that the holiday isn't receiving the hype it deserves.

A bullet point on the site reads, "51% of Millennials say Halloween is their favorite holiday, why cram it into 2 rushed evening weekday hours when it deserves a full day!?!"

The petition is going straight to President Trump.
