A mother and son are catching their breath after their inflatable swan floated off the shore of Anna Maria Island, Florida.
Tara Myers and her 7-year-old son were having a fun time on the beach when their swan-shaped raft got caught on a current and floated miles away from land.
"I have never been more scared in my entire life. I was not sure if we were going to keep drifting because land just kept getting farther and farther and farther away," Myers said to News Channel 8 in Florida.
Thankfully for Myers and her son, fellow beachgoers noticed them drifting away and called authorities.
Myers is now warning parents to avoid taking rafts and floats out on the gulf, in fear they will end up like her.
