Comedian Jim Gaffigan and his wife Jeannie, a Milwaukee native, opened up about Jeannie’s battle with a brain tumor on Megyn Kelly TODAY Tuesday.
Last year, Jeannie underwent a successful nine-hour surgery to remove the brain tumor.
The Gaffigans say they used humor to deal with the real-life drama.
"Jeannie was so amazing, and being writing partners she would come out of a two hour MRI and the first thing she would say would be write down these ideas I have about MRI jokes,” Jim Gaffigan said.
Jim Gaffigan is performing this September in the new Bucks Arena.
