Would you name your baby after a fast food restaurant chain for money?

Kentucky Fried Chicken thinks someone will. They are offering $11,000 to the first family to name their baby Harland on Sept. 9 after the restaurants' founder Colonel Harland Sanders.

The money would go towards the child's college fund. $11,000 was chosen for KFC's 11 herbs and spices in their fried chicken recipe

The giveaway is also to celebrate Sanders' birthday, who was born on Sept. 9, 1890.

Beginning Sept. 9, new parents can submit the name, date and time of their baby's birth along with their contact information to kfc.com/BabyHarland
